A Time to Gather: Thanksgiving Community Dinner in Stirling
St. John’s Anglican Church Community Dinner
As the leaves turn and the air cools, Thanksgiving in Stirling-Rawdon brings more than just turkey and trimmings, it brings us together.
This year, the Stirling Business Improvement Area (BIA) is proud to graciously sponsor the annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner, hosted at St. John’s Anglican Church. A cherished tradition in our village, the Community Dinners are a chance for residents to gather, share a home-cooked meal, and connect with neighbours new and old.
To accommodate more guests for this special holiday occasion, two seatings will be offered: 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. As always, the meal is free of charge, and donations are welcome to help support future dinners.
Planned, prepared, and served by a team of local volunteers, these dinners are more than just about food. They represent the spirit of Stirling, one of kindness, community, and care. Whether you're a senior, a student, a young family, or simply looking for a place to share in Thanksgiving warmth, all are welcome at the table.
The BIA’s support this year reflects our ongoing commitment to community well-being. Local businesses aren’t just storefronts, they’re neighbours, supporters, and participants in making Stirling a vibrant and inclusive place to live.
So join us, pull up a chair, and take part in a Stirling tradition that celebrates what we’re most thankful for: each other.
